Two weeks and some heartache

The heartache started this morning when UPS arrived with our surrogate's pumped breast milk and we opened it to discover it was packaged incorrectly. There was no dry ice or styrofoam to keep it frozen (even though it was purchased). One third was thawed, but still cold and the rest was starting to thaw. We panicked and got it to fridge/freezer as fast as possible and then proceeded to contact UPS about the negligence on the part of the employee who packaged it. Talk about stress for all of us. The good news is that the girls are back on breast milk and they are 2 weeks old today! Today I'm reminded (again) that there is never a dull moment in the Kwartler house so more naps are needed as preparation.
