Slippers
It's a good thing the girls like their new slippers because the mornings these days are cold in New England.
Kisses, Hugs, & Bellies
One morning last week Brenna and Nora gave each other a big hug as soon as they saw each other. It melted my heart. Since then our days are filled with hugs and kisses. I've been trying to redirect Brennas' urge to affectionately bite into a kiss. They couldn't have more different kisses; Nora's is a wide open mouth lick and Brenna's is a close mouthed 'muah'.
The girls also love to show off their bellies. Ted calls them the 'Big Belly Crew'.

We Survived!
Dad was away on a business trip last week. We had Skype sessions where the girls were blowing him kisses. The week went smooth because Dakota the babysitter was home from college and helped us a lot! The girls had to show Dakota their new chairs from Grandma and Grandpa Kwartler before she went back to school. Poor Nora wasn't feeling well this week with a fever that we finally discovered is her first ear infection. Hopefully she is on the mend. It's good to have Dad home!
Fall Festival
Last weekend we went to Drumlin Farm's Fall Festival. The girls loved seeing all of the animals and we even went on a hayride with my Mom's group friends. Brenna and Nora also had their first taste of apple cider (mom's been sticking to water, goat and coconut milk until now). Dad was thrilled! We had a fun filled family day before Dad left for a weeklong work trip.

Time to Jam
There is a neat indoor gym (Jam Time) for little kiddos right down the street from us. It's half price Monday afternoon so we checked it out with our neighborhood friends (their babe is 9 months). The girls had a fantastic time and Nora had a hard time saying goodbye when they were closing. I think we'll spend lots of time there this winter.

Baby Cousin Shower
Aunt Holly and Uncle Rob are expecting the arrival of their baby girl in a few short weeks! When Trish and Anatol were visiting we all went to CT to celebrate with them. The girls handled such a big day in stride!
Kwartler Grandparents Visit
We had a wonderful visit with Grandma Trish and Grandpa Yitz the week before last. Grandpa Yitz helped with the girls and projects. Grandma Trish kept her distance as her broken nose heals and the girls can be rough toddlers these days. Brenna and Nora had their first taste of yogurt kefir-one of Grandpa's favorites!
