Happy Halloween!

This year both Brenna & Nora were enthusiastic on Halloween to actually wear their costumes.  I started asking them many weeks ago what they would like to dress up as & they surprised me when they continued to say they both wanted to be witches.  I wasn't sure how they actually knew what a witch was, but then I remembered the Curious George Halloween book which includes 5 little witches.

Ted & I were able to make the costumes in time for our first event a few weeks ago.  That was an improvement since we are deadline driven people that are usually staying up late the night before Halloween :)

Saba & Grandma Trish were here visiting.  They had fun handing out treats with Brenna & Nora. We turned down the lights, lit some candles and the girls would hide & listen for the knocks from the trick or treaters.  For those candy enthusiasts - don't fret, they had a couple treats themselves, but I was proud when they declined the cider donut at the neighborhood party.

Dakota's Departure

Well I haven't done any blog posts all summer.  Not the many fun NH trips with family, not the trip to Cape Cod, weekly Walden pond visits, 3rd birthday party or even first day of preschool.  Not yet anyway :)

I am doing one tonight.  Tonight Dakota flew to Germany & will work there for an undetermined amount of time. It's the end of an era.  She started helping us with Nora & Brenna when they were only 9 months old & now they are 3!  She has helped our family tremendously.  She has been an incredible blessing & I am over the moon with gratitude for her.  

Koda - We hope you have a superb time on your adventure & can't wait to hear about it.  We love you!

Painting Rocks!

I've been meaning to paint rocks with the girls for a while this summer since they have so many collected. We finally did it on my last day babysitting before school starts! These girls are getting so big!

Baby Walks and Yoga

This morning we took our babies for a nice walk and then we did a little jungle yoga video inside to get a little more movement variation but stay out of the heat. Brenna was really intent on following the video and would tell me and Nora what we were supposed to do. The girls said some of the moves were a little

tricky but they did a good job following along and liked watching the other kids doing the moves. Looks like they'd have a fun time in a mommy toddler yoga class with Meghan! We topped it all off with some cantaloupe sorbet the girls made with Ted over the weekend!
