Dad's Home :)

Ted got home Friday from another west coast trip.  The week before he left I dressed the girls in these special outfits because he was having a bad day.

Dinner with Backa

Brenna can't say Grandpa so she's been calling him Backa.  He's visiting while Dad is in CA for the week.  It was a busy dinner last night and a treat to eat on Grandpa's nap.

I've been having so much fun with Nora and Brenna while I've been home for spring break! I'm so sad I won't be home longer. I can't believe how big they have gotten! They call me "ko", short for Koda and it's so cute when they do it.

Random Notes

Nora loves to eat beets and each time she sees me eating a salad she assumes it contains beets and wants to eat them out of the salad.  She calls them 'bees' and says 'hmmmmm' after each bite.

When Brenna gets excited and dances or marches she kicks her left leg out straight  in front of her over and over, but not her right leg.

Both of the girls have taken to sign language.  Brenna seems to prefer it a little to Nora.  Signs we use lately are; eat, water, sleep, banana, cheese, cracker, cereal, cat, dog, frog, bird, butterfly, thank you, baby, and airplane.

All Better

We are recovering after a nasty stomach bug hit us hard.  First Nora, then Dad and Brenna.  Mom was able to stay healthy and take Dad to the ER for dehydration Friday morning.  Brenna rebounded today.  The girls like to butter their own toast since we got step stools for them to use at the counter.
